The 41st Union World Conference on Lung Health was held on 11-15 November 2010 in Berlin, Germany at the Internationale Congress Centrum (ICC) Berlin. More than 2,600 delegates from 128 countries attended the conference, which offered sessions in English, French and Russian. The packed 5-day scientific programme focused on the theme of “Tuberculosis, HIV and lung health: from research and innovation to solutions.”
This conference was an especially exciting one, culminating not only the 2010 Year of the Lung campaign, but also marking The Union's 90th year and the 100th anniversary of the death of Prof Robert Koch, discoverer of M. tuberculosis.
