The Stop TB Partnership has launched a consultation on the first public draft of the Global Plan to Stop TB 2016-2020. The Global Plan will provide a road map to assist us in ending TB by 2035, as set out in the WHO End TB Strategy, and The Union would like to encourage broad participation from all stakeholders in this process.

An online consultation is now open, and all interested persons are invited to read through the Global Plan and leave comments on the introduction and the seven main chapters.

In addition, the Plan will be informed by four regional meetings, each held in a different region of the world.

The Global Plan to Stop TB 2016-2020 will be launched at the end of the year during the 46th Union World Conference on Lung Health held in Cape Town, South Africa from 2-6 December 2015.

This is an exciting and much needed opportunity for us all to come together and create a united response to ending TB.

Thank you in advance for your collaboration and continued support. Together we can bring an end to tuberculosis.

Please share your thoughts and comments on the first draft of this plan here.
