Aims and Scope

Public Health Action (PHA) is owned and published by The Union. PHA's principal aim is to inform scientists, academics and health service practitioners by disseminating new knowledge on health systems and health services for vulnerable groups, with a priority on tuberculosis, lung health, non-communicable diseases and general health services issues.

PHA welcomes the submission of articles on issues related to public health services in vulnerable and resource-limited communities, including policy, practice, systems, quality assurance / quality improvement, economics, equity, ethics and access to services. 

PHA now available on PMC and PubMed

PHA is now available on PubMed back to Volume 1, Number 1 (Sept 2011) due to deposit on PubMed Central as an open access journal.

  • Charges: 1500 € publication charge applicable on acceptance
  • Waivers: For cost reasons, waivers cannot be granted.
