Tobacco Control E-Learning

The Union's Department of Tobacco Control offers online training that provides opportunities for interested professionals to increase their knowledge about key issues in tobacco control – in convenient formats and at no charge.

These online training courses are designed for the following professionals:

  • Government representatives responsible for drafting, implementing, enforcing and evaluating tobacco control legislation
  • Bloomberg Initiative (BI) grantees and project leaders in priority countries
  • Representatives of civil society working to encourage governments to introduce tobacco control policies
  • Staff from BI partner organisations who support the work of other participants

Courses now available: 

  • Smokefree implementation and enforcement (5 modules / estimated completion time: 2 hours)
  • Article 5.3 – Stopping tobacco industry interference (5 modules /estimated completion time: 2 hours)
  • Tobacco-Free sports events – training for volunteers
