The 49th Union World Conference on Lung Health in The Hague, The Netherlands, will bring together researchers, global advocates, scientists, healthcare professionals, students and community members working on all aspects of lung health.

The 49th Union World Conference on Lung Health in The Hague, The Netherlands, will bring together researchers, global advocates, scientists, healthcare professionals, students and community members working on all aspects of lung health.

The conference theme Declaring Our Rights: Social and Political Solutions, highlights that to eliminate tuberculosis (TB) and achieve the health-related Sustainable Development Goals requires a coordinated public health response driven by the human rights of each individual.

Submissions

Submissions to the scientific programme are now being accepted.

Abstracts, symposia, satellite sessions, post-graduate courses and workshops on lung health issues such as tuberculosis and TB co-infections, tobacco control, air pollution, COPD, pneumonia, civil society and community engagement, human rights and other topics are welcomed.

Deadline

The deadline for submissions of abstracts, symposia, post-graduate courses and workshops is Tuesday 17 April. Satellite session submissions are open until 10 July with a second round of submissions from 11 July to 10 September, upon availability.
