As the cliché goes, a picture tells a thousand words and in its mission to promote lung health in low- and middle-income countries, The Union actively promotes photographs that respect the individual but also highlight the dire conditions where tuberculosis and lung disease thrive.
From 2003 to 2005, The Union managed the Stop TB Image Library which is now managed by the World Lung Foundation. In this revamped version of the Image Library you will find more than one thousand high quality professional photographs on tuberculosis, HIV, asthma, child lung health, tobacco and air pollution; an excellent resource to illustrate your educational and social mobilisation materials. All low resolution images for electronic purposes are free of charge for non-commercial purposes.
