Global consultation on TB retreatment regimens

An estimated 1 million people worldwide may be in need of a retreatment regimen for TB, and current recommendations have been made on limited evidence. To develop a comprehensive research agenda for retreatment regimens, 25 experts attended a global consultation in Paris this month sponsored by The Union-led TREAT TB project – a USAID-funded Cooperative Agreement for TB research.
