The scope of The Union's technical courses has expanded to meet the changing needs of today's health care professionals and public health programmes. While thorough training in the prevention, treatment and control of tuberculosis continues to be one of The Union's strengths, other courses address specific skills needed for management of MDR-TB, tobacco control, operational research, child lung health management, TB/HIV collaborative programmes and more
The course requires good knowledge of oral and written English and is targeted at health care personnel from Asian countries who have responsibility for tuberculosis control at the regional/provincial and national levels.
