Institutional Repository Policy

  •

The United States National Institutes of Health, the Wellcome Trust, the British Medical Research Council and other research councils require that public funded research should be made freely available as of publication or within at least 6 months of publication.

The policy of the IJTLD is as follows:

Six months after publication in the IJTLD, authors may self-archive a copy of the final version of the paper accepted for publication, which includes all modifications from the publishing peer-review process (post-print), but not the publisher's pdf.

There are no associated charges, but:

    • authors should notify the Editorial Office on submission
    • the IJTLD reference should be included in the archived paper, and
    • copyright should be acknowledged.

    Open access:

Articles can be made Open Access from publication on request. Please contact the Editorial Office for information on tariffs.

Authors may, if they wish, add the link to the pdf of the final published article on Ingenta to their websites.
