The Union holds a Christmas Seals Exhibit and Contest each year during its World Conference as a way of recognising this colourful century-old lung health fundraising tradition. During the World Conference, the seals are displayed in The Union Village to be viewed by all delegates. Union members vote for their favourite seals at the General Assembly.

2012 Christmas Seals Exhibit and Contest

During the 43rd Union World Conference on Lung Health held in Kuala Lumpur from 13-17 November 2012, 11 Constituent and Organisational Members from the following countries participated: Canada; France; Hong Kong; India; Japan; Malaysia; Republic of Korea; Singapore; Taipei, China; The Philippines; USA.

This year, enlarged posters were displayed (see photo below) as well as the original seals during the voting at the entrance of the General Assembly on Saturday, 17 November.

2011 Christmas Seals Exhibit and Contest

Last year during the 42nd Union World Conference on Lung Health held in Lille, 9 constituent and organisational members participated in the exhibition in The Union Village.

Below are the winners of the 2011 contest.

1st place: Japan Anti-Tuberculosis Association (Japan)

2nd place: Korean National Tuberculosis Association (Korea)

3rd place: Comité Nacional de Lucha Contra la Tuberculosis y Enfermedades del Aparato Respiratorio (Mexico)
