Your gifts help us reduce the mortality caused by tuberculosis, HIV and lung disease.

  • With your support, The Union pursues its work in technical assistance, education and research.
  • For as little as 50€, we can cure two TB patients, or do 20 HIV tests, or treat 14 babies under two months of age for pneumonia, and much more.

How you can contribute to The Union’s mission

    Making a donation via Paypal, will give you the freedom to choose and secure the amount you'd like to donate, you can also choose to donate on a regular basis.
    Paypal accepts donations made with credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal accounts right away. No monthly set-up or cancellation fee. Only low transaction fees are applied. However, you do not require a PayPal account to make your donations.

  • Leave a legacy
    As a registered public charity in France (Association Reconnue d’Utilité Publique) since 2 November 1999, The Union is entitled to receive legacies. Legacies left to The Union are exempt of all inheritance dues. To find out more, please contact your legal advisor. (**)

(*) Fiscal advantages
In France: gifts from French organisations, corporations and individual residents are tax deductible within the limits of the law. Union accounts are certified by an external auditor and are available on request. Legacies left to The Union are exempt of all succession dues.
In the USA : American donors can be made to the International Union Against Tuberculosis and lung Disease Incorporated Inc., a non-profit organisation type 501 (c) (3), that is exempt from paying taxes and promotes lung health in the world.
In other countries: donors should consult their own fiscal advisor in regards to the fiscal status of their gift.


(**) Legacies or bequests
A legacy is an amount of money or a property left to a person or an organisation in a will. The legacy can be modified or cancelled at any time by the person making the bequest. Property transfer of the legacy is accomplished only after the decease of
the person making the bequest.
