The International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease has announced its 43rd Union World Conference on Lung Health that will be held 3-17 November 2012 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  The submission process for 2012 conference sessions is now open.  The Union World Conference on Lung Health is the largest annual conference focusing on lung health issues particularly as they affect low- and middle-income populations in addition to innovative and current scientific work. Presenters and delegates from more than 120 countries participate each year in the 5-day event, which offers some 150 post-graduate courses, workshops, symposia and other sessions.  One of the great strengths of The Union conference is the "bottom-up" process used to develop the scientific program.
