16th Conference of The Union North America Region23-25 February 2012; San Antonio, TexasThe 16th Annual Conference of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease will be held February 23-25, 2012, in San Antonio, Texas, USA. The meetings will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Riverwalk. As the agenda is developed we will post the information. Additional information will also be posted as it becomes available on the Conference website.
Call for Abstracts: Abstract submission for 2012 has now been closed.
Oral and Poster Presentations: You may request 1) poster presentation only, or 2) poster presentation plus possible invitation for oral presentation according to score of abstracts by the Abstract Review Committee. All abstracts submitted will be reviewed. The highest-ranked abstracts will be considered for oral presentation, and others for poster presentation. Abstracts of limited quality may not be accepted. At least one author of the abstract must register for the conference by January 14, 2011 and attend the conference. Abstracts must be submitted in accordance with the meeting guidelines that can be found here.

Note: A limited number of travel grant awards will again be available through the generous support of the Pittsfield Anti-Tuberculosis Association and the Friendship Fund. 18-23 May 2012; San Francisco, CaliforniaAt ATS 2012 in San Francisco, more than 400 sessions will provide a comprehensive review of the latest information on the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases, critical illnesses and sleep disorders. In addition, more than 5,500 scientific research abstracts and clinical case reports will be presented, giving attendees new perspectives on the clinical, basic science and translational discoveries that will shape the future of adult and pediatric respiratory care. Among the many topics to be covered are asthma, COPD, lung cancer, obstructive sleep apnea, pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, ARDS, and sarcoidosis. The Advance Program with registration form will be available here in January 2012.
