Activities of the Tobacco Prevention Control and Research Centre (TPCRC) of Iran

This Organisational member has been active in a number of areas:

• National activities: participation in the Tobacco Control National Committee and monitoring the implementation process of National Comprehensive Tobacco Control Law
• Educational activities: graduation of the second year of MPH course on Tobacco Control; smoking cessation workshop held in October 2009; collaboration with 2 medical science universities;
• Scientific publications
• Advocacy activities: participation in several tobacco control congresses; upgrade of the TPCRC website
